Method
- Turn on the Instant Pot to sauté mode and add the oil.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are softened, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce, Cajun seasoning, thyme, oregano, and salt. Stir until the spices are mixed in.
- Add the rice and chicken broth. Stir to combine.
- Lock the lid onto the Instant Pot and set it to manual high pressure for 25 minutes.
- After the cooking time is up, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
- Stir the rice and serve.
Notes
- If you want to make this recipe a bit spicier, you can add some cayenne pepper or hot sauce to taste.
- You can also add some cooked andouille sausage or shrimp to the dish for some extra flavor.
