Ingredients

For the chicken:

For the ginger sauce:
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of ginger
  • 1/4 cup of chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Equipment

  • A large pot
  • A rice cooker
  • A blender or food processor

Method

Step 1: Prepare the chicken

  • Clean the chicken and remove the internal organs.
  • In a large pot, add enough water to cover the chicken and add the green onion, ginger, garlic, and salt.
  • Bring the water to a boil and add the chicken.
  • Bring the water to a boil again and reduce the heat to low.
