Method

  1. Wash the rice in a fine mesh strainer and set aside.

  11. After the 10 minutes have passed, manually release any remaining pressure.
  12. Remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork.
  13. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve.

  • If you prefer a spicier rice, feel free to add more chili powder or a diced jalapeño pepper to the pot.
  • If you don't have fresh cilantro on hand, you can substitute with parsley or omit entirely.
