For the rice:- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 cups water

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1 capsicum, chopped
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 1/2 cup cabbage, chopped
- 1/2 cup boiled corn
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder

- Medium-sized pan

Method
1. Wash the rice and soak it in water for 15-20 minutes. 2. In a large pot, add 2 cups of water, 1 tsp oil, and 1/2 tsp salt. Bring it to a boil. 3. Drain the rice and add it to the pot. Cover the pot with a lid and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked. 4. In a medium-sized pan, heat 1 tbsp oil. Add the chopped onion and stir for 2 minutes. 5. Add the chopped capsicum, carrot, and cabbage. Stir for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked but still crunchy. 6. Add the boiled corn and 1/2 tsp salt. Mix well. 7. Add 1 tsp garlic paste and 1 tsp ginger paste. Stir for 1 minute. 8. Add 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp vinegar, and 1/2 tsp black pepper powder. Mix well. 9. Add the cooked rice to the vegetable mixture. Mix well. 10. Serve hot with a side of chili sauce or tomato ketchup.Notes
