Mix well. 9. Drain the water from the rice and add it to the cooker or pot. Mix well. 10. Add 2 cups of water and mix well. 11. Cover the cooker or pot with a lid and cook for 2-3 whistles in a pressure cooker or for 20-25 minutes in a pot. 12. Once the pressure is released from the cooker or pot, open the lid and fluff the rice with a fork. 13. Serve hot with raita or pickle.Notes
