- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 6 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Orange food coloring
- Yellow food coloring

- 9x13 inch baking dish
- Saucepan
- Wooden spoon
- Measuring cups and spoons
Method
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows to the saucepan and stir until completely melted.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.
- Divide the mixture into three equal parts.
- Color one part with orange food coloring, one part with yellow food coloring, and leave the third part uncolored.
- Press the orange layer into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Press the uncolored layer on top of the orange layer.
- Press the yellow layer on top of the uncolored layer.
- Cool the candy corn rice krispie treats completely before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
