- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 cup white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon salt

Method
1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. 2. Add the chicken to the skillet and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. 3. Cook the chicken for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked. 4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. 5. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and the diced onion. 6. Cook the onion for 2-3 minutes, until softened. 7. Add the rice to the skillet and stir to coat with the oil. 8. Add the chicken broth and salt to the skillet and stir to combine. 9. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet with a lid. 10. Simmer the rice for 18-20 minutes, until fully cooked and the liquid has been absorbed. 11. Fluff the rice with a fork and add the cooked chicken back to the skillet. 12.
