Method

  1. Clean the chicken and remove any excess fat or skin.
  2. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  3. Add the rice, soy sauce, oyster sauce, vegetable oil, salt, and sugar to the pot and mix well.
  4. Place the chicken on top of the rice, cover the pot, and let it cook for around 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken from the pot and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, mix the garlic, ginger, green onions, and sesame oil in a small bowl.

  9. Remove the chicken from the bone and slice it into pieces.

  11. Drizzle the ginger sauce and chili sauce on top of the chicken and serve with the small sauce bowls on the side.
